Yummy authentic Chinese food. Coming from Zurich, where the Chinese is disappointing, this was a great experience and I can’t recommend this place highly enough. However, I was pretty sure the “mixed ravioli” I ordered was 7 euros instead of 8. I’ll give them the benefit of doubt 😛 I’ll come by again when I visit Florence next time.

Best Chinese food spot in Florence! Looks like a small family-owned restaurant. The guy/dad makes the dumplings on the spot, right in front of you. The food looks appetizing and tastes authentic. If you are looking for good, authentic Chinese food in Italy, this is the place to be. Also service was extremely friendly and quick. Extremely good value for the quality of food.

The restaurant is small and the tables close together, but I think it makes it feel homey/cozy and adds to the atmosphere. Again, really appreciated the kindness of the staff and their hard work! Dropped in for a late night bite and it was so good. The dumplings were perfectly cooked and the baos fillings were also very tasty. The staff were great and the food did not take long to get. The taste of the food felt really authentic. I can understand why this places get such high ratings. Truly deserved!
The Chinese jianbing (crepe) is authentic and delicious! The pork belly + rice combo is also yummy. For me the seasoning is a little salty but it’s only my personal taste. I would go there again to enjoy the food and just tell the owner to put less salt/soy sauce in my dishes.
We had a lovely dinner last night, don't have any complaints. Lovely place with an open kitchen & lovely staff/owners. Had the crepe, bao, rice with pork/veg/rice, steamed dumplings & ended it with a to go choclate iced cappuccino 😋
Jianbing crepes are good. Shengjianbao are ok, no broth inside but the dough is pleasant.
The food in Woody is so good served by lovely attentive staff, she explained different dishes we were inquiring about, highly recommended, might have to again before we leave Florence🥂🇮🇹 ☘️

This was unexpectedly good! I came here for the pizza on the other side of the road but it was closed and decided to try Woody. I got some salted rice with beef and sauerkraut (special of the day) and it was really tasty! The service was great too!

Top of the game for Chinese street food, cheap eats but real treats. High quality, non-pretentious, and courteous attention to detail. You might as well be in NYC or mainland China for food of this caliber. Highly recommended 👍
Very friendly and welcoming. Ordered panfried pork dumplings and the noodle in chicken broth. Nice chunks of chicken meat in the broth. Dumplings were crisp on the bottom and soft and moist inside. Washed down with Peroni.
